As part of the Marketing and Communications division the Director of Digital Strategy will lead a digital strategy team to define scope and recommendations for the University’s flagship digital properties and partner websites. This position will play a critical role on partner engagements, serving as a digital strategy advisor and subject matter expert. They will serve as a thought leader in aligning digital marketing strategy with business goals and objectives and drive high-level discussions to make recommendations based on the goals of the University and its entities. They will be a key ally/partner to schools and colleges as well as administrative units as they solidify and enhance their digital presence. A positive team player with the ability to strategically and operationally lead teams to develop and implement digital strategies within established university governance and guidelines. They will drive adoption of accessibility, process and policy standards, supporting digital best practices and key digital metrics. They will train, mentor, and onboard new members of the digital strategy team.
