The Digital Marketing Manager will support and collaborate with the Marketing & Communications (MarCom) team on the implementation of effective, results-driven digital communications. This team member will manage a leading social media and inbound marketing strategy to support and enhance the Academy’s brand. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Manager will support the execution of various communications tactics including building a library of short clip video assets, managing the Academy’s blog, drafting weekly e-newsletter email content, assisting in website and portal updates, and covering campus events. The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Strategic Marketing & Communications.
Lead the planning, implementation, and measurement of digital communications, including social media, digital advertising, and creating landing pages that convert.
Draft weekly community e-newsletter content.
Research and recommend new digital tactics to increase digital presence and reach.
Provide regular content updates for the website including management of the blog and video content. Assist in routine website maintenance and updates when needed.
Monitor all social media activity and prepare monthly reports.
Cover campus events for digital promotion.
Manage online school review sites including Private School Review, GreatSchools, Niche, etc.
Manage ongoing search engine optimization (SEO).
Manage ongoing paid advertising campaigns.
Contribute copywriting, editing, and proofreading for Academy publications and collateral materials as needed.
Order school stationery and business cards for all schools and departments.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Strategic Marketing & Communications.
An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
A minimum of four years of relevant work experience. Familiarity with the education industry is preferred.
General tech-savviness with a strong understanding of social media, Google Analytics, and search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
Intermediate knowledge of videography and editing tools (such as Adobe Premiere or FinalCut Pro), Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Familiarity with CMS such as Finalsite, Veracross, and/or WordPress preferred.
Highly organized and efficient, with demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Thorough and precise with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both orally and in writing. Must be able to work with a diverse group of people and explain technical concepts in user-friendly terms.
Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to multitask. Strong customer service mentality with a “can-do” approach and great sense of humor!
The Digital Marketing Manager position is an exempt, salaried, 12-month position. Some evening and weekend work may be required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. EOE.
