The Office of University Relations is seeking applications for the Director of Enrollment Marketing. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the President/Chief Communications Officer, the Director of Enrollment Marketing will play an important role in East Tennessee State University's strategic enrollment growth agenda.
Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Creates an annual comprehensive integrated marketing and communications plan and executes a comprehensive array of strategies to support the university's enrollment goals;
Works closely with the offices of Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Studies, and ETSU Online to develop and implement successful marketing activities and campaigns for a variety of audiences including first-time freshmen, transfer students, adult learners, and international students;
Collaborates with units and departments across campus in support of strategic enrollment goals;
Partners with campus constituents to develop and deliver the university messages for recruitment activities;
Develops strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment and yield activities;
Plans and manages production of creative projects including printed, audio, video, and digital assets;
Identifies strategies for utilizing social media platforms effectively to achieve marketing goals;
Partners with campus constituents to identify stories that embody the ETSU experience; collects student, faculty, and alumni testimonials to tell the ETSU story; and works with team members to write, package and distribute these stories through a variety of channels;
Works closely and collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure brand consistency;
Fosters positive interactions and cultivates strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and other partners;
Stays up-to-date with developments in higher education enrollment marketing and content strategy;
Applies best practices to website content for SEO;
Utilizes and helps maintain datasets and dashboards and uses these tools to optimize campaign and outreach performance;
Manages schedules, creative development, and execution of projects, while ensuring that deliverables are on-time and on-budget.
