As the Airport Development Manager for the Texarkana Airport, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the airport's infrastructure, business opportunities, and economic growth. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including but not limited to Overseeing the management and development of airport-owned real estate properties. Working on initiatives to stimulate economic growth in the airport's vicinity. Overseeing the maintenance and operation of landside buildings, including terminals, ARFF station, and office facilities. Creating marketing campaigns to promote the airport's services and offerings. Preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for projects and partnerships. Overseeing revenue generating activities at the Airport including contracts, leases and agreements; administers Airport property management and development to position the Texarkana Regional Airport as the preferred Airport of choice in the region.

Seek out innovative opportunities for revenue generation.
Collaborate with local government and economic development agencies.
Identify funding opportunities and grants for airport development.
Ensure that landside buildings are in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Plan for infrastructure upgrades and improvements to enhance passenger and tenant experiences.
Collaborate with Airport Maintenance department to address maintenance and repair needs.
Coordinate maintenance appointments with local electrical, plumbing, and HVAC (heating and air conditioning) companies.
Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including airlines, passengers, and the community.
Attend industry conferences and events to network and stay updated on industry trends.
Utilize digital marketing tools and social media to enhance the airport's online presence.
Craft compelling proposals and bid documents for potential investors and partners.
Ensure all documentation are in compliance with regulations and standards.
Recommends rental rates and user fees for airport properties, facilities, and services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Aviation Management, Economic Development, Business Administration, Marketing, Political Science, Public Administration or related field and;
Two years of related experience in business development, contract management, real estate, property management or marketing preferably in an airport setting.
An Associate’s Degree in related field with at least four years related experience, in business development, real estate, property management or marketing preferably in an airport setting can be substituted.
A combination of education and experience may be considered in meeting the minimum requirements for this position.
Valid state driver license, free of serious or frequent traffic violations.
Preferences:
Work experience with an airport related to real estate or economic development role is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of researching data or developing queries from an appraisal district website
Working knowledge of Microsoft office, internet explorer and social media is required.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and Flash) preferred.
Ability to capture quality photographs of people, places, and things.
Principles and techniques of marketing; airport rates and charges theories.
