The Professor of Practice in Hospitality and Tourism will serve as a faculty member for the Department of Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the University's mission by teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, leading student organizations in the area of hospitality and tourism, communicating with external stakeholders to promote the program, and secure internships and employment for students.
The position will report to the Chair of the Department of Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain and also work with the Dean on external engagement opportunities. Candidates for this 9-month position should be individuals who have made contributions to fields related to the appointment and qualify for a professor of practice position. The individual must possess credentials and/or experience that merit an appointment in the area of hospitality and tourism. Experience in building relationships within and among organizations is required.
