This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
This position will oversee the school's websites to ensure accuracy and brand design that displays our goals and mission as the No. 1 school of pharmacy in the nation. This position will improve our user experience by assisting with and ensuring that all digital content displays a clear, consistent style and is accessible across all our various touchpoints. This position will also play an integral role in the current, ongoing redesign of the School's website. This position will develop and/or oversee the creation of multimedia graphics for use in digital marketing and communication efforts that include, digital design, graphic design photography, film production, asset management, etc. The manager will also oversee occasional print pieces that accompany digital products.
This role reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and works in conjunction with the Director to create, repurpose, maintain and optimize content targeted toward prospective students, alumni, industry, pharmacy professionals, media, current students, faculty and staff. Content includes but is not limited to information about the school, pharmacy practice, our research enterprise, faculty profiles, student profiles, special event materials, newsletter content, blog articles, fundraising collateral, social media content, and website content.

This position will oversee a Digital Content Specialist and a Digital Content Intern who will help execute principal job functions.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field, master's degree preferred.
