The Assistant Director, Athletic Development and External Affairs, under general direction reporting to the Director of Athletics, assists Development Officers and Institutional Advancement in securing philanthropic support for athletics. Participates in fundraising activities pertaining to the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individual major donors and prospects with an emphasis in Athletics. Effectively utilizes communications and relationship building strategies for meeting the various athletics fundraising needs of the institution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborates with coaches and staff to identify priority fundraising needs to be presented to Director of Athletics for approval. Under direction from Director of Athletics
