Bostrom is a leading Association Management Company dedicated to providing exceptional services to our diverse range of association clients. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Content Marketing Manager to join our team and oversee the development and execution of content marketing strategies for multiple clients.
The Content Marketing Manager will spearhead the development and execution of content strategies that drive engagement and brand awareness for Bostrom and our association clients. Collaborating closely with clients, you will identify their unique business objectives, target audiences, and key messages to craft compelling content campaigns. This role involves managing the content creation process, from ideation and writing to distribution and performance analysis. You will work directly with Account Executives (AE) providing strategic insights and recommendations to optimize content performance and achieve measurable results.
Position Responsibilities
- Content Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with Account Executives and client teams to plan, develop, and implement content marketing strategies across various channels including web, print, email, social media, and newsletters.
- Social Media Management: Design, build, and maintain the social media presence for clients as needed. Develop engaging content and manage social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Performance Analysis: Measure, analyze, and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns. Assess effectiveness against goals, ROI, and KPIs to ensure successful outcomes.
- Optimization and Insight: Identify trends and insights to optimize marketing spend and performance. Use data-driven insights to refine and enhance marketing strategies.
- Creative Strategy Development: Brainstorm and propose innovative and creative growth strategies to elevate client visibility and engagement.
- Experimentation and Testing: Plan, execute, and evaluate experiments and content strategies across traditional and digital channels to continuously improve marketing efforts.
- Collaboration and User Experience: Work with internal teams to create and optimize landing pages and user experiences for special campaigns and initiatives.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and recommendations for adopting new tools and technologies where appropriate.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, related field, or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of marketing and communications experience.
- Association or Association Management Company (AMC) experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in writing, managing, and implementing content marketing strategies, including contact database management, email marketing, social media, print production, and ad management.
- Highly creative with a demonstrated ability to identify target audiences and design compelling digital campaigns that drive engagement and motivate action.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing. Solid knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics. Skilled in setting up and optimizing Google Ads, and LinkedIn campaigns.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with strong skills in customer service, organization, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate personal integrity in all interactions and communications with Bostrom staff and clients.
- Perform effectively under pressure, managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure in challenging situations.
- Collaborate efficiently across departments and with clients, offering assistance and sharing information as needed.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, ensuring successful interactions with others.
