Certified Angus Beef 2025 Summer Marketing Internship

The Certified Angus Beef Marketing team will host ONE 2025 summer intern. The Marketing internship will offer valuable work experience and the opportunity to gain marketing expertise with the world’s leading branded beef program. The internship centers on promoting the brand to consumers, grocery stores, distributors, and restaurants. While Certified Angus Beef LLC works extensively with cattlemen, our internships are focused on beef promotions to consumers and other end users.
This position is available for 10-12 weeks, from mid-May to mid-August, equivalent to 40 hours per week. Some travel and weekend work may be required. The internship will be located at brand headquarters in Wooster, Ohio.
Junior or senior-level students majoring in marketing, advertising, digital marketing, communication, agriculture communications, agriculture education, Animal science, agriculture business, or agriculture economics.
Hourly rate and housing options (if applicable) to be discussed at interview.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities for licensed accounts
- Support content ideation, creation, and execution of resources for corporate events
- Assist in developing and maintaining corporate marketing materials
- Support account marketing team with execution of identified projects
- Plan and execute consumer-targeted promotional events (ie. Store samplings, in-store marketing)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter, forward-thinking, creative problem solver
- Demonstrate knowledge of project management to effectively execute and complete deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
- Experience with Microsoft 365 preferred, not required
- Strong interest in pursuing an agriculture and/or food career path

Selected interns must attend Youth Beef Leaders Seminar, December 11-13, 2024 as part of the internship experience. This will be an all-expense paid trip to Wooster, Ohio, to our home office and Culinary Center. CAB will work with interns and their professors if this falls during finals week to ensure their attendance.
