The Ithaca College School of Business invites applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible Assistant Professor of Marketing position to work at our Ithaca, NY campus beginning in Fall 2025. Duties include teaching assigned classes in marketing (five courses per year); conducting impactful research; participating in service to the institution and the profession; and advising students.
The School of Business seeks to empower our students to become creative leaders who see business’s potential to help address societal challenges. To this end, we foster a supportive community, provide immersive learning experiences, and collaborate closely with Ithaca’s world-class schools of communications & media, liberal arts, health sciences, and the performing arts. The Department of Marketing serves students in the Marketing major, the Integrated Marketing Communication major (in collaboration with Park School of Communication), and the distinctive MBA in Entertainment & Media Management. The successful candidate will teach assigned general marketing courses and electives related to their expertise at undergraduate and graduate levels. All subspecialties of marketing will be considered. We especially encourage applications from candidates with an interest in Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Sales and Sales Promotion

Ph.D. (or appropriate terminal degree) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required. ABD candidates with teaching experience and scholarly productivity may also be considered. Candidates should demonstrate evidence of a developing research program and a plan for continuing that program into the future. This will include sufficient research activity to establish or maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic(SA) qualification. We prefer candidates who have a record of successful college teaching, including a commitment to inclusive and accessible pedagogies.
