Job DescriptionRochester Community and Technical College is accepting applications for an Unlimited, Full-time, Business Faculty position. This position is for Fall 2025, with a start date of Aug. 19th. This will become unlimited upon completion of the required probationary period.Duties Include:· Deliver lecture and lab instruction.· Participate in department and college curriculum development.· Conduct classroom assessment and evaluation activities.· Participate in committee assignments and college-wide initiatives.· Engage in professional development activities.· Advocate on behalf of students, program and college.Required QualificationsMaster's degree with a major in business administration or business management or a master?s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in business administration/business management.Preferred QualificationHave postsecondary experience in teaching Business Management, and Marketing classes using a variety of delivery methodologies.Hands-on managerial or administrative experience in business.Demonstrated knowledge of business technology like data analysis tools, customer relationship management, digital marketing platforms (Google Ads or Analytics) and/or project management.Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and assessment of student learning outcomes including experience implementing active learning strategies, such as business simulations, case studies, and community-based projects, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.Experience in work-based learning and collaborations with the community in creating experiential learning opportunities.Demonstrative ability to work effectively with a student population encompassing a broad range of skill levels.Demonstrated commitment to institutional service and leadership, including active participation in initiatives that enhance the college?s academic environment, student success, and/or community partnerships.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Expectations of FacultyA faculty member?s work assignment includes a number of diverse professional responsibilities. Classroom teaching and other contacts with students form the core of the faculty work assignment. Additionally, professional development and service to the college are the other core components of a faculty member?s work assignment. A faculty member will plan to engage in such activities as: studentadvising, course evaluation, classroom preparation, the evaluation of student performance, committee assignments, classroom research and community service as part of overall work assignment.SalarySalary is dependent on education and experience, in accordance with the Minnesota State College Faculty [MSCF] bargaining agreement (available on the Minnesota State website or by clicking here). Rochester Community and Technical College was founded in 1915 on a motion by Dr. Charles Mayo to the Rochester School Board. Rochester is Minnesota's oldest - and one of the nation's oldest - original community colleges. The 2005-2006 academic year marked RCTC's 90th anniversary. The college serves approximately 7,500 students in credit-based enrollments and 3,000 in noncredit courses.
