VMB is seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing team into its next phase of growth. This role replaces our former Director of Marketing position and is ideal for an advanced marketing leader who can both set strategic direction and drive measurable results.
Reporting to the COO, the VP of Marketing will oversee all marketing initiatives across digital, social, print, and direct channels—while leading a talented in-house team and managing external agencies and vendor relationships. The ultimate goal: increase resort occupancies and company revenue through innovative, data-driven marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on driving revenue growth across VMB’s portfolio.
- Oversee and mentor our marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and performance.
- Lead all digital marketing efforts including SEO/SEM, social media, email, and website optimization.
- Manage brand consistency and storytelling across multiple resort properties.
- Leverage CRM and database marketing to maximize guest loyalty and repeat bookings.
- Direct advertising and media strategy (digital, print, and broadcast) to ensure optimal ROI.
- Collaborate closely with operations, revenue management, and sales to align marketing initiatives with company goals.
- Evaluate marketing analytics, campaign metrics, and trends to guide decision-making.
- Oversee relationships with marketing agencies, technology partners, and vendors.
- Strong background in travel, tourism, hospitality, or rental management marketing (required).
- Strategic thinker who can balance visionary leadership with hands-on execution.
- Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into action.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-channel campaigns and driving measurable revenue growth.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is not required, but is preferred.
