Job Summary
The Manager, Account & Project Management, Strategic Account Solutions oversees the performance, satisfaction, and growth of Urology customer accounts while managing project delivery across multiple workstreams. This role ensures successful execution of customer implementations, provides oversight for project teams, and supports customer needs throughout the lifecycle of each engagement.
In addition to account oversight, this role leads the planning and execution of business unit-level events, meetings, and internal collaborations. Responsibilities include coordinating agendas, managing logistics, aligning stakeholders, and supporting content development for department meetings, customer-facing working sessions, and internal operational gatherings.
The Manager operates with moderate independence, supervises professional staff, contributes to departmental policy development, and helps maintain consistent standards across the project management function.
Account & Project Oversight
- Lead customer-facing activities and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Monitor and manage project and account scope to ensure alignment with the Statement of Work (SOW) and customer expectations.
- Manage project budgets and ensure compliance with organizational guidelines.
- Lead internal and external project kick-off meetings, ensuring clarity around timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities.
- Facilitate customer implementation and update meetings to ensure consistent communication and visibility into project status.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of project activities and deliverables.
- Partner with internal operations teams to develop and maintain work orders, project plans, and chronologies.
- Track milestone progress, identify potential risks or delays, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Define and validate customer requirements for assigned accounts and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Apply broad knowledge of compliance and industry best practices (e.g., PhRMA guidelines, digital marketing practices).
Business Unit-Level Event & Meeting Leadership
- Lead planning and coordination for business unit-level meetings, workshops, and internal events, ensuring alignment with department goals and compliance guidelines.
- Manage logistics such as scheduling, agendas, content development, and cross-functional coordination.
- Support preparation of materials, presentations, and communication for leadership and project teams.
- Ensure events and meetings run smoothly and support meaningful engagement and outcomes for attendees.
Operational & Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of 3 project managers and support day-to-day operations within the department.
- Ensure team members follow departmental guidelines, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in developing and improving policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Make decisions that impact short-term operational outcomes and customer experiences.
- Interact with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; occasionally interact with senior management.
- Resolve operational issues related to project delivery, timelines, or customer needs.
- Build consensus across teams and stakeholders to drive progress and alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor?s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in account management, project management, operations, or similar roles (healthcare experience preferred)
- Experience managing customer relationships and coordinating cross-functional workstreams
- Experience leading small teams and guide project contributors
- Clear communicator, able to summarize complex information for different audiences
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Practical problem-solver able to identify issues early and drive resolution
- Ability to present and lead conversations with diverse cross-functional teams and levels
- Ability to work within ambiguous environments
Location: This position is remote and can be based anywhere within the United States. Candidates must be able to work within EST or CST business hours.
Anticipated salary range: $105,100 - $150,000
